Tiempo D' Tacos

A family taqueria in the heart of Little Havana

Tiempo D' Tacos, by Taqueria Viva Mexico, brings authentic Mexican street tacos, fresh salsas, and late-night energy to SW 8th Street in Miami's Little Havana. This is where we share who we are, what's cooking, and what's happening on Calle Ocho.

What's Happening

Events on Calle Ocho

Monteros performing live with congas and maracas in front of the neon wall at Tiempo D' Tacos, Little Havana

Every Saturday · Live from 8:00 PM

Live Music Saturdays with Monteros

Every Saturday from 8pm the dining room turns into a party: Monteros play live Latin hits while the tacos and margaritas keep coming. Free parking.

Monteros are a Miami duo who bring congas, maracas, and a full night of salsa, cumbia, and Latin pop right to the middle of the room. There's no stage between you and the band. Expect people singing along at their tables, a dance floor that appears out of nowhere, and the neon "aquí se come" wall glowing behind it all.

It's the best night of the week to come with a group. Book a table for dinner around 7:30 so you're settled in with a round of Spicy Loves before the first song, then stay late. The kitchen runs until 2am on Saturdays, so there's always another plate of tacos coming.

Taco Tuesday at Tiempo D' Tacos: platter of al pastor, carne asada, Baja shrimp, and carnitas street tacos with lime, 3458 SW 8th St Miami

Every Tuesday · Noon to Midnight

Taco Tuesday on Calle Ocho

Tuesdays are for tacos. Al pastor with pineapple, carne asada, crispy Baja shrimp, and slow-cooked carnitas, plus margaritas to match, all day from noon to midnight.

Our Taco Tuesday platter is the easiest way to taste the whole taqueria in one sitting: al pastor shaved with grilled pineapple, carne asada with cilantro and onion, Baja-style shrimp with purple cabbage slaw and chipotle crema, and carnitas that have been cooking since the morning. Squeeze the lime, pick a salsa, repeat.

Tuesday is also our most relaxed night in Little Havana. Walk in after work, grab a seat at the bar, or bring the family and order the table full. Ask your server about the Tuesday specials on tacos and house margaritas.

Birthdays & Celebrations

Balloons, sangria, a table full of shareable plates, and a room that will sing with you. Tiempo D' Tacos is where Little Havana celebrates.

From milestone birthdays to reunions and team dinners, our dining room is built for big tables and long nights. We'll help you plan the menu, from the Bonche Mexicano platter for the whole group to pitchers of margaritas and sangria, and set the table so all you have to do is show up.

Celebrate on a Saturday and the live band will happily dedicate a song. Celebrate on game night and you'll have the match on every screen under the jerseys hanging from the ceiling. Either way, bring the cake, we'll bring the tacos.

Who We Are

From Taqueria Viva Mexico to Calle Ocho

Tiempo D' Tacos grew out of Taqueria Viva Mexico and the same family recipes: slow-cooked birria, crisp carnitas, hand-pressed tortillas, and salsas made fresh every day. We opened on SW 8th Street because Calle Ocho is where Miami comes to eat, dance, and stay out late, and we wanted a Mexican kitchen that kept up.

Today we're a neighborhood taqueria in Little Havana with a full bar, a late-night menu that runs until 2am on weekends, and a dining room built for walk-ins, first dates, and big family tables. Whether you stop in after exploring Calle Ocho or make us the plan for the night, you'll find tacos the way they're made on the streets of Mexico.
